04:30 — Early pickupWildlife is most active at dawn. We time your pickup so you're at the park gate when it opens.
06:00 — Enter Yala National ParkSwitch to a 4x4 safari jeep with an experienced tracker. Morning game drive through Block 1 — the best leopard territory.
09:30 — Bush breakfast stopA break at a designated spot inside the park — often with wild peacocks for company.
10:30 — Continue game driveElephants at the waterholes, crocodiles in the lagoons, and if luck is on your side, a leopard draped over a rock.
12:30 — Exit park & lunchLunch at a local restaurant near Tissamaharama.
14:00 — Optional: Tissamaharama temple or KataragamaA short cultural stop on the way back if you have the energy.
